Local citizens have named St. Cletus School one of the 2013 top three Best Private Schools in St. Charles County. Each year, citizens are invited to submit ballots to the Suburban Journals to vote for the #1 business in St. Charles County in various categories. The 2013 list of winners was published on October 30. The other two schools on the list of best private schools include The Academy of the Sacred Heart and Willott Christian Academy.
Our K – 3rd graders now have access to our new SMART Table 442i, which was funded by the PTO as part of our school enhancement initiative. This collaborative learning center is like a giant iPad that may be utilized by multiple students at the same time.
We will also soon be ordering our new iPad cart, which will include 30 iPads, and will be used by entire classrooms of students for center/group activities. This is the final project funded by the PTO school enhancement initiative. Other projects funded by this initiative included our new Science and Math Lab, completion of the school library’s automation/modernization, and new cabinets and shelving in the classrooms.
Each month, students who attend our day and evening school, along with those who attend the Academy of the Sacred Heart, gather together to plan, prepare, and participate in monthly class and family Masses. The idea behind this ministry is to create a sense of unity between the schools of our parish and to celebrate the liturgy as one family.
Our 8th graders have begun their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, which they will receive in April. Please keep these children in your prayers during the coming months.
We added two new after school programs this year: a school newspaper, and chess classes from CheckMates USA.

The seven doves in our school's emblem represent the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel (Right Judgment), Fortitude (Courage), Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord (Wonder and Awe).
